Venezuela Creates Web page Against OAS Secretary General
Venezuelan social movements have created a website in which a document can be signed in rejection to the actions that the Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Luis Almagro, is promoting today against this country.
Those interested will have access to the document that 185 social movements handed over to the Republican Foreign Ministry on the 15th, a day after Almagro presented his report against the South American nation, emphasized a note from the Venezuelan News Agency (AVN).
The member of the Latin American Foundation for Human Rights and Social Development (Fundalatin), Virginia King, told the agency that with the collection of signatures ' will be shown that Venezuelans do not support that someone outside our borders comes to direct our destiny' .
'(With the signatures) we seek to create a collective conscience in which we can all be constituted as defenders of Human Rights, in the self-determination of our people, to decide their destiny and define the reins of the country,' he stressed.
